Percy Reece Esquivel Smith is a skilled Mechanical Engineer with a robust academic background and extensive hands-on experience. Born and raised in San José, Costa Rica, Percy pursued his passion for engineering at the University of Costa Rica, where he earned both his Bachelor’s and Licentiate Degrees in Mechanical Engineering.
Throughout his career, Percy has demonstrated his expertise in various roles, starting as a Resident Engineer at Lucas Ingenieros, where he managed HVAC and Mechanical systems for critical projects, including the Coloplast and Terumo facilities in La Lima, Cartago. His dedication and technical acumen earned him a promotion to Project Engineer, where he played a pivotal role in the Hospital Monseñor Sanabria Martínez project, overseeing the selection, installation, and quality assurance of HVAC systems.
In 2024, Percy transitioned to Ingeniería Global WES SRL as a Project Manager for the Intel Blue Sky project in Belén, Heredia. Here, he further honed his skills in quantity surveying, cost materials analysis, and commissioning services. With proficiency in software tools like Excel, Matlab, AutoCAD, and Solidworks, and an intermediate level of English proficiency, Percy is well-equipped to tackle complex engineering challenges and deliver innovative solutions. His commitment to excellence and continuous learning makes him a valuable asset to any engineering team.
